# dIntDesJam Bunch of old old projects, made during an especially annoying course, when bored during a lecture. All of them are made using - and requires - [love2d](https://love2d.org/). ## Projekterne ### dIntDesJam 2016 Week 1 Friday 5. Feb. 2016 Pretty cringe, looking back at it now. ### dIntDesJam 2016 Week 2 Wednesday 10. Feb. 2016 ### dIntDesJam 2016 Week 3 Wednesday 12. Feb. 2016 Fun with shaders. ### dIntDesJam 2016 Week 4 Wednesday 17. Feb. 2016 Fun with bad collision detection. ### dIntDesJam 2017 Week 1: Dildo Collector Friday d. 27. Jan. 2017 One of the classics within the idle game genre, this is a scathing critique of modern capitalist society. The game reduces the protagonist (ostensibly the player,) to a creature of only three verbs: _Work_ (for money), _Survive_ (by eating expensive foods), and _Buy Dildo_ (for masturbatory and entertainment value.) The player fully embodies their in-game character by the alignment of the in-game verbs with the player's motivation for doing these actions: - _Work_, a boring click; the only satisfaction gained is the gained ability of using the other verbs. - _Survive_, an even more boring click. The looming sense of doom from not _Surviving_ is the only reason for the player to continue pressing the button. - _Buy Dildo_, an joyous click! The player, as well as the their (unseen) in-game avatar enjoys the excitement from the new dildo, for a fleeting second, before they, through necessity must turn their eyes towards survival once again. ### dIntDesJam 2017 Week 2: All Star Friday d. 3. Feb. 2017 Fun with better collision detection. ### dIntDesJam 2017 Week 3: All Stars Friday d. 10. Feb. 2017 What if Smash Bros had infinity bullets? ### dIntDesJam 2017 Week 4: En Forelæsning Friday d. 17. Feb. 2017 This friday's lecture was cancelled, so we made _Cancelled Jam_ instead. This nostalgic game harkens back to the days of yore, when friday lectures were a plenty, with their confusing terminology and silly conclusions. The game tries to emulate a lecture by using [Markov Chains](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markov_chain), though, truly, it fails to capture the true nonsense of these lectures. ## License ``` MIT License Copyright (c) 2016-2024 Jon Michael Aanes Permission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person obtaining a copy of this software and associated documentation files (the "Software"), to deal in the Software without restriction, including without limitation the rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software, and to permit persons to whom the Software is furnished to do so, subject to the following conditions: The above copyright notice and this permission notice shall be included in all copies or substantial portions of the Software.
